Eastertide Series

Eastertide can be difficult to navigate. On the one hand, there is the ongoing unexplainable joy of Resurrection and the hope of new life. On the other hand, there is the inevitable feeling of “So, what?” as we notice that the world seems unchanged. “What difference has it made, is it making, and will it make in our lives day by day?” That is the question we are asking in this series for the beginning of the Easter season: How shall we live and love? Let us live with these questions guided by the Epistle and Gospel of John. Let us explore what it means to be the church in a messy and still beautiful and hopeful world.

Five Wishes

We invite you to an afternoon of learning about “Five Wishes.” You will be provided with a workbook and speakers will be available to explain and walk through the workbook. Five Wishes is more than a workbook that becomes a legal advance directive when completed. It is a comprehensive, person-centered advance care planning program that offers a proven, easy-to-use approach to having effective and compassionate conversations. Five Wishes was developed as the first advance care plan (ACP) to address personal, emotional, and spiritual wishes, in addition to medical treatment. It’s called the “living will with heart and soul” – being able to define a roadmap for how you want to be cared for. Light lunch will be provided. Click here to sign up.

Women’s Luncheon

You are cordially invited to our Women’s Luncheon on Saturday, May 4 at 12 p.m.  Please bring a tea cup to make a tea cup garden. If you do not have a tea cup you can purchase one at the luncheon.
