[really_simple_share] A “FUNdraiser” to Help Eliminate Malaria  The CUMC  Mission Team needs your help with our next “FUNdraiser”.   What’s a better way to have “FUN” than eating out – enjoying a meal or even just a dish of delicious frozen custard?  This church will receive a check, and we will use the money we received to help save lives from malaria, a disease that was wiped out in other parts of the world 50 years ago. We really can eliminate this dreaded disease with the four-fold approach of the global United Methodist Church. Our denomination has been on the African mission front for over 200 years and has the networking facilities to do this.  A gift of $100 translates into a life saved from malaria.  Monday, July 27 Culvers Restaurant on Route 47, Huntley, will be donating a portion of the sales to Christ United Methodist Church, and we in turn will be using it for The Imagine No Malaria fund. The amount of money we receive from Culvers will range from 5 % to 20% of the sales; the percent is a sliding scale, based on the amount of total sales that evening.  The CUMC Mission Team needs your help with this fundraiser. There are many ways to help. Please give this thought; please volunteer in as many ways as you are able. Eating dinner out, or stopping by for a beverage or frozen custard – it all puts FUN in the word fundraiser.  It also provides needed resources for a problem that can be solved in the near future.  You can help our church realize our own goal by assisting with this FUNdraiser.   We need individuals to
