Your generosity helped your Mission Team bring a bountiful amount of Warmth to the homeless who are served by the McHenry County PADS Homeless Shelter, and ALL-winter-season-long Kim Aupperle delivered your winter gear, detergent & hygiene donations to PADS. Because PADS received bountiful amounts of blankets, coats, hats, & gloves, they’re well stocked with most of these items. Furthermore, it seems like spring and warmer weather are here. Therefore we’re now collecting only hygiene items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo & soap. Detergent and monetary donations are also welcomed and needed. Monetary donations (please mark PADS in the memo line of your check) may be placed in the offering plate; they will be added to your church account for your annual contribution statement. However, NO coats or clothing are needed at this time. (contact Kim if you have any questions). Remember that as winter comes to a close, stores will be pricing their winter gear exceptionally low SO BUY at these low prices for the following winter season…shop smart ~ bless more!
