Compassion Letter/Esther Ruth – dated 7/7/2014 rec’d 9/29/14

Dear Christ UMC

My beloved friends Christ UMC.  How are you doing now days?  Christian greetings to you all.

The truth is love you all and write to you is a joy to me.

Thank you so much for the great opportunity you gave to me to be your child among the many who wanted this great chance but with Gods blessings you selected me out of the thousand children.

Your support has made me to grow in all aspects of life.  My spiritual life now has been shape unlike before joining the project.  I can read the bible, tell others about the goodness of the Lord and also involving myself in the church activities.  Have been able to finish up my course in hair dressing and as I write this am working because I have a certificate in hair dressing and am doing my best is all because of your support.

Have gained skills on how to deal with my body and take on better health practices because have been helped at the project to go through health screening only as a young girl my life has totally changed in term of health practices.  Have also gained skills at the project which skills have helped me today to be a person of change in my community and to be an example to all other people in my community.  While at the project we learned a lot of skills such as making door mat, how to prepare local foods, making dresses out of  banana weaving and craft and may others.  I only believe that these skills with help in future.

I have been taught how to inter act with my friends both at home, project and in the community.  My prayer is that God with bless you and reward for me.  Sharing is part of my life today and I enjoy doing it to my fellow youth and peers.

The truth I will miss you so much and am praying for you and wish you all the best.

From your child Esther Ruth
