Illinois Migrant Council is collecting children’s snacks, clothing, and hygiene items for the migrants that are arriving in Illinois. It’s a great time to go through your closets and see if you have any of the gently-used items on the list!
Biggest need for clothing is: Gloves, winter hats, long socks, long underwear, jackets, hoodies, sneakers, winter boots and coats.
Also needed: reusable bags, backpacks, small duffel bags
Hygiene items: diapers, snacks for children, hand sanitizers, wet wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products
Missions team will be collecting and dropping off the items when we get more information.
